iPhone Cases Go Retro Old School Apple Products.

I know these have been all over the blogosphere in the past 24 hours and I, myself posted a link to them on Facebook yesterday morning. When I saw how many people were responding, I realized I simply had to feature them on the blog.

Schreer Design, who makes many iPhone cases, is presently offering four that make your latest Apple technology (the iPhone 4 or 4s) appear like a Mac Throwback. The cases dress your present day mobile phone as the old Biondi Blue, The G4 Graphite, the beige 1989 Macintosh with rainbow Apple logo or as an iPod.

• Design is printed deep into the case's surface so it won't fade, peel or chip. Your case will continue to look as nice as the day you receive it!

• Hard removable case that firmly grips your iPhone.

• Protects your iPhone while still allowing full access to buttons and ports.

• Compatible with all iPhone 4 models including the 4s.

Each case is priced at $44.95 and can be purchased here.

Better buy them now before Apple gets wind of them and issues a cease and desist order!

Can You Ear Me Now? EARonic iPhone Cases Make Great Stocking Stuffers.

Available in five different styles these fun and hip iPhone cases give the illusion of blending into one's head when using the phone. Photographs of life sized ears and profiles in various styles - males, females, varying skin tones, some with razor stubble, some with earpieces - are printed on durable iPhone cases which fit both the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S. No Vulcan ears as of yet.

Designed by art student Daniela Gilsanz for CollabCubed, Daniela first came up with the idea of the EARonic iPhone case last fall when applying to art schools. She was getting a portfolio together and while sketching some ears in her sketchbook (one of the prompts from a school) the initial EARonic mockup and portfolio piece came to be. (See below).

Since then, Daniela and CollabCubed improved on the original concept, photographed many an ear, and produced the actual phone cases. At only $20 USD each, they make great stocking stuffers!

Each available style is shown below.

Stylish Stainless Steel Artist Etched Plates For Your New iPhone - Luxe Plates.

Now that we know the new iPhone 4s is the same size as the previous iPhone 4, you don't have to wait to find a cool case or plate design to protect the world's most popular gadget. That said, I'd like to bring Luxe Plates to your attention.

These are beautifully etched stainless steel self-adhesive plates that fit the back of your iPhone 4 or 4S. They protect the phone without getting in the way of buttons or lens. They also work with other covers (fitting under larger wrap around covers) and they can be removed without residual 'gunk.'

With a varied selection by some of today's contemporary artists, designers and illustrators (Andreas Preis, Erich Ginder, Dan Funderburgh, Jesse LeDoux, Jared Nickerson, Richard Coward, Eight Hour Day, Verity Keniger and Notter & Vigne) you're bound to find something that fits your fancy and your phone. They also have a "Design Your Own" option which is explained further on in this post.

The designs are etched with a special photochemical process and are available as brushed stainless steel with black enamel inlay or as polished steel with the etched design.
